PROJECT DETAILS

Building the Foundations

The Jackman Group were evolving from a domestic plumbing and heating company into a commercial construction and refurbishment business. We’re helping document that transformation through ongoing visual tools — showing the quality of work, the scale of projects, and the people behind the company — so future clients can see where the business is heading, not just where it’s been. This Project is still underway, and this page will be updated with more content examples as we get each one across the line.
THE FINER DETAILS

The Problem

The business had changed significantly.

What began as Gas Jack had grown into a company delivering larger commercial construction and refurbishment projects across Plymouth. The scale of work, the type of clients, and the ambition of the business had all moved on.

Externally, though, that shift wasn’t obvious.
The brand still reflected an earlier stage of the company, making it harder for new clients to quickly understand the level it was now operating at.

Jack wanted people to see the quality of the work, understand the size of the projects, and follow the journey of the business as it evolved.

The Project

This is an ongoing project focused on using video as practical brand and sales tools, not one-off content.

We’re capturing finished projects as they happen, creating walkthrough and explainer videos that show scope and standards, and producing talking-to-camera content with Jack to give context to both the work and the direction of the business.

Alongside filming, we help shape the ideas and wording used on camera so the message stays aligned as the company moves into larger contracts. Rather than waiting for a single rebrand moment, the transformation is being shown in real time.

Why It Mattered

At commercial level, credibility comes from visibility.

Clients want to see relevant work, understand how projects are delivered, and feel confident in a company’s capability before conversations begin. When a business moves upmarket but still looks the same externally, it risks being underestimated or overlooked.

The Jackman Group needed tools that could support conversations and introductions, making their capability clear without over-explaining.

The Decision

Instead of announcing a transformation, the decision was to document it.

Real projects became proof.
Finished work became reassurance.
Jack’s personal story became context.

Video was used deliberately as a tool — something that could be shared and reused — to help people understand both the quality of the work and where the company is heading.

The Outcome

The content is now part of how the business presents itself.

Projects are easier to explain, capability is clearer, and the company feels established at a higher level. Earlier videos had already generated strong engagement and new enquiries; this ongoing work is now focused on consistency and credibility as the business continues to grow.

The Insight

When a business is changing,
showing the journey builds more trust than announcing the destination.
